If you’re at least 16 years of age and want to help dogs in need, attend one of our New Volunteer Orientation sessions, which are held on the 4th Saturday of the month at 10:30 am. You’ll learn more about our organization and the volunteer positions offered here.
MCR volunteers can opt in to additional hands-on training, including classes and workshops that cover a wide array of canine behavior topics. There is room for growth and advancement if you’d like to deepen your understanding of dogs.
Recruit Your Family
After attending our New Volunteer Orientation session, you can choose to become a foster parent. This is a great way to get the whole family involved in saving lives and to teach your kids how to give back to your community.
Together, We Save Lives
Volunteering with Meridian Canine Rescue has encouraged me to do more for my community along with expanding my knowledge of the shelter system. I love being with the dogs and people, knowing that my actions are doing good for the community.
