Basic Obedience Class

Instructor: Hillary Hayward, CPDT-KA, Director of Rescue Programs

Are you struggling with your dog? Do you find yourself frustrated or unsure about how to teach them what you want them to do? Would you like to learn about how to get the best results with training? Join Meridian Canine Rescue’s basic obedience class where you’ll work hands-on with your pet while they learn their basic manners. And you will get the confidence to handle your dog in a variety of ways. It’s fun, fast and more importantly: fear free!

This class meets on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 online* for 6 weeks. The cost is $100 for MCR adopters/dogs and $120 for everyone else. All class fees benefit our Dog Care Program. Space is limited, so don’t wait!

*Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this class will be conducted virtually through Google Hangouts until further notice. You will need a computer, an internet connection, and a Gmail account in order to participate. Because there is a possibility that some classes may be held in person at our facility toward the end of this session, the following rules still apply:

Dogs must be over 4 months of age, be spayed/neutered, provide written or electronic proof that they are current on all vaccinations and not have a history of aggression. If your dog has exhibited aggression towards other dogs or people, please contact Hillary at hillary@meridianrescue.org to determine the best way to help your dog. Dogs must not be sick or injured, so they do not pose a risk to the other dogs. All dogs must be accompanied by an adult (18 and up).

To enroll for the session beginning on March 24th and ending on April 28th, please complete the form below.
